Dr. Rand Doyle DVM
Dr. Rand Doyle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude at the University of South Carolina. He went on for his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and graduated from Tuskegee University of Alabama where he received the R.D. Horne Award for Orthopedic Surgery for Academic Excellence.
His love for surgery began in high school where he was hand picked for the opportunity to work with a renowned surgeon in an extern program designed to help high school students entering medical school seeking a specialty in surgery. He now enjoys the opportunity to perform surgery in our state of the art surgery suite on a daily basis.
Dr Doyle is married and is the proud father of a son. Dr. Doyle's family has lived in Lakeway for 13 years. While he was in college, Dr. Doyle worked as a veterinary technician at Lakeway Vet Clinic, where he fell in love with the community. He has found being a full time associate at Lakeway Vet Clinic to be very fulfilling! When he's not in the office, he enjoys time spent with his family, and his pets, "Tank;" a chocolate lab, "Digit;" a Boykin spaniel, and "Moonshine;" a Tennessee Walker. As the new owner of Lakeway Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Doyle looks forward to meeting both current and new clients and patients as well as being an integral part of the Lakeway community where he both lives and works.
Dr. Rafael Seda Lozada
Dr. Rafael Seda Lozada was born on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. He doesn’t remember a time in which he did not want to be a Veterinarian. Pursuing his dreams, he obtained his Bachelor degree in Veterinary Technology from University of Puerto Rico in 2006. He was accepted at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and decided to completely move with his wife and three children to Alabama to finish his doctorate degree. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012 and was elected to be part of the Tuskegee Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. He also received the Bayer Award for Excellence in Veterinary Clinical Parasitology, and the Novartis Animal Health Award for Academic Excellence.
Shortly before graduation he accepted a position in Spring, Texas to work as an Associate Veterinarian for a corporate company. This experience helped him develop a special love for preventative medicine and surgery. For him, “preventative medicine is the best medicine”, and client communication and service is necessary to keep our pets healthy.
Dr. Seda is married to Wilnelia, and a very happy father of Jose (19), Jazira (9), and Kenai (7). His family is completed with a 2-year-old Rottweiler named Sika and a rabbit named Maximus. Dr. Seda is also bi-lingual, which is a great asset for our clinic. For him, family is priority number one, and he feels our pets are family. That vision brings him to Lakeway, with the opportunity to work in an excellent facility with a family environment and an excellent staff, doing what he loves: practicing Veterinary Medicine. He is looking forward to meeting all our clients and pets from the Lakeway community, where he decided to make his new home.
Dr. Heidi Moore
Dr. Heidi Moore is a native Texan who was born and raised in a small town in West Texas called Midland. Becoming a veterinarian was second nature to Dr. Heidi. From an early age, she can remember wanting to be a vet, as she was always surrounded and caring for animals. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and received a double degree in Chemistry and Poultry Science. While completing her degrees, she played Division I- Women's Soccer. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Heidi got the opportunity to study veterinary medicine in Grenada, West Indies at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. This international experience changed her life as she was able live in a different culture and learn from professors and classmates from all over the world. While she was in veterinary school she received the Outstanding Colleague Award for 2 semesters. Her 4th and final clinical year she attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Heidi practiced in Bastrop, Texas shortly after graduation for 6 years and then moved to west Austin where she practiced in Marble Falls for 2 years. In March 2017, she joined the Lakeway Veterinary Clinic team. She has a special interest in internal medicine, wound care, dentistry, shelter medicine and general soft tissue surgery as a veterinarian. She enjoys treating all animals ranging from horses and cows, to dogs, cats and pocket pets.
Dr. Heidi loves to travel and strives to travel somewhere new every year. She also stays active by hiking, running, and playing soccer. She lives in Lakeway with her husband Jeff and their two pups, a high-energy rescue dog, Norman and a laid back Beagle/Bassett mix, Lola.

Dr. Kelly Might, Surgeon
Dr. Kelly Might, DACVS was raised in Bedford, Texas, a town between Dallas and Fort Worth. He moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate student, earning a bachelor's in zoology and a minor in Spanish. He then attended Oklahoma Stat, Dr. Might found his calling for veterinary surgery. Dr. Might completed a 1-year rotation internship at PetCare Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa, California. He then went on to perform a 1-year surgical internship at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists in Boulder, Colorado. These experiences were then followed by a three-year surgical residency at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. During his training Dr. Might developed a strong interest in minimally invasive surgery and orthopedics. While at Washington State University, Dr. Might published multiple manuscripts and found great interest in orthopedic research. After 9 years away from home, Dr. Might his wife, and two children returned to Austin, Texas. By teaming up with Dr. Allman and performing mobile specialty surgeries, Dr. Might is able to provide complicated surgical procedures to many pets that would not otherwise be able to receive specialty care. When not at work, Dr. Might enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Matthew Cannon, Radiologist
Dr. Cannon was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from University of California at Davis and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society. He was selected for a rotation small animal internship at the Ohio State University before returning to UC Davis for radiology residency. He completed the American College of Veterinary Radiology board examination in 2009, prior to completing his residency. Dr. Cannon has extensive experience in all fields of imaging with special interests in advanced neuorologic and orbital imaging, abdominal ultrasonography, thoracic CT, and musculoskeletal imaging. He has conducted research involving the CT and MRI characteristics of zygomatic gland disease in dogs, and ultrasonography of the iliopsoas muscle in dogs. He has authored and co-authored multiple articles, which have been published in veterinary radiology and ultrasound, the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He is also a reviewer for Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound and Veterinary Ophthalmology.
Dr. Cannon lives in Austin, Texas and enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and kayaking in his spare time. He is married to a veterinary ophthalmologist, and in addition to a beautiful daughter and handsome son they also have two children of the animal variety: a sweet shaggy white mutt, and a somewhat antisocial orphan kitten. Free weekends are often spent feeding the deer with his wife and children on the family ranch in the beautiful Texas Hill Country or watching a variety of college sports.
Dr. Danielle Paglia, DVM, DACVO
Dr. Danielle Paglia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology from the University of Florida. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 from Mississippi State University where she was inducted into the Phi Zeta honor society. She then completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. Subsequently, she attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she completed an ocular pathology fellowship. Following the completion of a three-year comparative ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Davis, she worked in private practice in Rocklin, California. She and her husband, a veterinarian and native Texan, have moved to Texas to be closer to family. She has joined Eye Care for Animals and practices in Austin. .
