Elizabeth Henslee

Dr. Betsy Henslee, DVM

Dr. Henslee is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care for companion animals and the people who love them. Originally from Houston, she now calls the Austin area home, where she continues to serve pets and their families with a thoughtful, collaborative approach to veterinary medicine.

After earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas, Dr. Henslee went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Texas A&M University. Throughout her career, she has focused on building strong relationships with clients, working together to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each pet's unique needs while considering each family's lifestyle and goals.

Dr. Henslee has a special passion for senior pet care and the management of chronic diseases, helping aging pets enjoy the highest possible quality of life. Her interests include preventive medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is known for taking the time to educate pet owners, ensuring they feel informed and confident in the healthcare decisions they make for their beloved companions.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Henslee enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. They enjoy hiking together and cheering on the Texas Longhorns during football season. Their household also includes Addie, a Great Pyrenees–Australian Cattle Dog mix, and are looking to add more furry family members soon!
